Reorient Yourself

Sometimes we try to force people or situations in our lives that don’t fit. Friends, jobs, relationships social status, etc…

As a result, we invite the drama that comes along with the individual or circumstance and end up investing time and energy into something that didn’t belong in the first place

I like to think of my life as an elaborate puzzle. With each experience the connection to the bigger picture becomes clearer. What I’ve come to appreciate is that just like most puzzle pieces, I’ve had to reorient myself to make new connections and to continue building out my

picture. Reorienting yourself can come in the form of a taking a new job, relocating, downsizing your home, ending a relationship/friendship.

Position yourself accordingly and don’t force a connection because it looks like the “piece” should/could fit. Also remember, that you can’t control other people but you absolutely can control how you position yourself.
